Bio

I am a Web coach, mentor and consultant and offer free advice for do it yourselfers trying to grow their

businesses on the Web.  Those tips are included on these pages as a way to increase your Web

traffic at no out of pocket cost to you.  It is primarily meant for self employed business owners, solopreneurs, homepreneurs, mini- and mincro-business owners and managers . But anybody who has a Website (or blog) or is interested in one, can benefit from this information.

 

Why?  Both my wife, Judy, and I believe in -

• The Golden Rule.
• Pay It Forward.
• And anyway...most of the information is readily available if you do the research work yourself.
• Plus, we’ve been where you are - looking for answers.

 

My closest cousin Barbara describes most sales people as charming and insincere.  Firstly, I consider myself to be a professional consultative salesman.  I am, however, not now, and never will be ‘Prince Charming’ (that is Judy’s job);  however, I am straight forward and sincere and hope you look at what I say with an open mind and try it.  Many of these techniques worked to successfully market Judy’s Website and set recent quarterly and annual sales increases during this recession.

 

Personal experience includes:

 

• Over 25 years of successful consultative selling and marketing experience.
• Sales manager, trainer and mentor.
• Entrepreneur and business owner (so I know  the obligations you must meet before you can pay yourself).
• Former adult educator and high school substitute teacher.
• First video tutorial made in 1986!
• Author, publisher and public presenter.
• Over three years of Web marketing experience.

 

Over 15 years ago I established and chaired the Ambassadors Group for the Buffalo Grove Chamber of Commerce.  I also  co-started an independent non-competing networking group (H.E.L.P.) for businesses in the northwest Chicago suburbs.
