Think Search – What Keywords Describe Your Product or Service?
What would people enter into a search engine query box to find your business? How would they describe your products or services? What questions would they pose? Of course, that is without knowing your URL, name of the company, location, telephone number, etc. For if they knew those things already then why would they need to search for you? Your other forms of advertising had worked! I am, of course, talking about new clients or prospects.

I use the same technique when I try to drive the point across. People describe things differently that you do, especially when it comes to industry jargon! You may call your product or service one thing, while people who search for it call it something completely different.
